Pool Pump Repair

Types of Pumps

Single-Speed Pumps: Traditional pumps with a fixed speed, suitable for smaller pools.

Dual-Speed Pumps: Offers flexibility with two-speed settings, reducing energy consumption during low-demand periods.

Variable-Speed Pumps: The most energy-efficient option, allowing users to adjust pump speed based on specific pool needs.

Pool Pump Troubleshooting

Noisy Operation:
Rattling or screeching sounds may indicate a worn-out or misaligned impeller.

Leaking: A leaking pump could be due to damaged seals or loose connections.

Lack of Water Flow: Reduced water flow might be caused by clogs in the impeller or a malfunctioning motor.

Air in pump: This could be a sign of a lose union, leaking seal, lack of power, or other issues.

Pool pump not responding?

Sometimes your pool pump will not respond to any automations, or schedule set, but the pump has power. This could be an indicator of disrupted communication between the pump and automation, a bad communication wire, or other electrical complications.

Resetting the breakers or Wi-Fi can sometimes help reconnect the pump to automation.
